Create a new agent group in Strings

Create a new agent group in Strings

Purpose
Agents can be configured in Strings for multiple purposes, and multiple agents can be assigned to the same agent group (e.g. if multiple radiologist workstations as a given office location need to use the same workflow and collect the same data, agents may be deployed as part of the same agent group).

Procedure: Adding a new agent group
(Note: You must be configured as a user/part of a user group with access to Settings in Strings)
  1. Upon logging in to Strings, open the hamburger menu icon (☰) and go to Settings.
  2. In the menu on the left, expand "Agent Mgmt." then go to "Agent Groups."

Screenshot (with agent group names obfuscated) of the Agent Groups screen with settings highlighted
  3. If a new agent group is needed, click the "Add new agent group" button and fill in the window that opens:
    Add new agent group window
Name: Can be any description/value to identify the agent group.
Target Version: This dropdown will contain any configured Agent Versions within Strings. In the example above, only R26.1 exists in that environment, but for environments with multiple Agent Versions all will appear in this dropdown.
Once this information is filled out, click the blue Save button and the agent group will be added.

Additional note on Agent Groups: The "Id" column that isn't blurred in the first screenshot will always reference the Agent Group in the same row. This value does not change, and will be needed when installing the Strings Agent to ensure it is associated with the correct agent group.
